By profession I'm a special make-up effects artist and have been since 1992. I've worked on movies ranging from low budget independants to Hollywood blockbusters and just about everything in between...I'm a lucky guy!



My paintings are purely for my own entertainment (and hopefully yours!). A way of doing things that I want to do and , more importantly, doing them the way I want to do them without interference or censorship from others.



I'm always being told by friends and colleagues that I should 'get into illustration' but I really don't think this would suit me to well...the first time I got asked to paint an orc fighting a barbarian I'd simply fall asleep. My problem is I only want to paint what I want to paint...yeah! I know it's the attitude of a spoiled brat...but that's why I stick to simply painting for my own pleasure.



That's not to say I'm not interested in doing private commisions...but it would have to be something that appeals to my own skewed vision of fantasy art...something a little different maybe or a little dangerous....
