    Stains on the underpants of society

    Despite anti virus software, firewalls and the like I picked up a trojan virus thingy and although I managed to get rid of the damn thing it has severely damaged my computer...amoungst other things it has left me unable to read anything using Flash or Javascript so I can't access 80% of most websites...including this one!!

    Therefore, until I can afford to get it fixed I wont be able to answer messages or notes here, though it seems I can reply to comments left on my homepage and leave journal entries (go figure!!), so apologies to anyone who's written....I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

    On the slim chance that anyone reading this has ever deliberately put a virus out on the net can I just say that I sincerely hope you contract a hideous disease and die a slow, painful and early death!!

    • Reading: 'How to Kill Fuckwit Hackers...'
    • Watching: The grass grow
    • Playing: the fool
    • Eating: ...quite healthily actually!!

    I had to re-format my harddrive like two weeks ago. Death penalty is too lenient.

    The same thing happened to me and the trojan went in and over wrote a "Win 32" file. It was impossible to fully figure it out and then I had to reformat it.

    Unfortunately I know as much about 'reformatting hard drives' as I do about advanced astro-navigation or intro-uterinal micro-surgery....I'll get some boffin to sort it eventually!!
