The Peacocks managed to survive to a new generation?

I never did get into the X Files show. I saw a few and really liked the writing and the stories…but I just couldn't get on with the two leads and found their characters totally unbelievable. So I had to look up The Peacocks…and yes, if not a new generation then maybe some distant (though probably inter related) relatives?

The episode is incredibly disturbing and interesting to watch, suspenseful I suppose you could call it and extremely violent.
Loved it though and it stands as one of my all time favourties to date.
Mulder was a bit ridiculous, however I am far more fond of Scully
(The stunning Gillian Anderson, currently holding a major role in the upcoming season three of Hannibal!) and her behavior.
They do get better as time goes by, but of course not everyone likes them. Their replacements are what ruined the X-Files for myself and my partner, though. Absolutely atrocious choices, they should've brought the series to a close instead.

Definitely inter-related relatives if they aren't! What a sequal reunion spin-off episode that would be, yeesh!

Maybe I should revisit the series…give it another go (though I tried that recently with Buffy and again just couldn't get into it…I don't think I'm the target audience!). Is there a 'best of..' DVD or anything?

I never even knew they replaced Mulder and Scully…so that shows you how much I know about the show!!…lol

I don't think there is a best of dvd, maybe out there some where though.
I suggest Irresistible and of course The peacocks episode 'Home', Tunguska (russian one, really awesome), Dwayne Barry, Ascension, One Breath. Dwayne Barry, Ascension, and One Breath are an arc in that order.
Then there is an episode called Squeeze with the character Eugene Victor Tombs, which is also a fantastic one.
I have a ton I could suggest as great episodes, however, to each their own!

We rewatch the X-Files entire series up until the replacements each year, we personally enjoyed it the series that much.
Hopefully you find a few you like.

Today I have to catch up on some Dr.Who, I'm behind! Yikes!

Have an awesome day!

Nope~
Though my roots take me back to Ukraine, I'm a born and bred Texan (minus the obnoxious accent.) But I drink enough tea to impress an Englishmen. I might even give the Chinese a run for their money.

I worked for 10 years with a boss whose wife was Texan...so I don't find the accent obnoxious...but then I think we never find other peoples accents horrible do we? They're always 'quaint' or 'charming'...:)

That seems to be the most common reaction. Mutants of any kind are always destined to be thought of of as the bad guys.

And I know where they live.....Lewisham, south London. It's just nice to see them posing for a photo and not setting fire to a bus stop like usual lol. Excellent work you have in this here gallery my friend.
