I don't think I'd be far wrong if i said that most fantasy artists eventually get around to having a go at Frankenstein's Monster....so this is my version....or rather it's my version of Jack Pearce's role defining make-up for Boris Karloff...has there ever been a more iconic creation?

He was sculpted in clay, cast in plaster and turned out in silicone rubber....I'm often asked what happened to his nose...I dunno really...maybe he lost it fighting the wolfman???

Franky by *Kaduflyer might be one of the best 'Frankies' I've ever seen in modelled form. Excellent work. ( Suggested by =Raccoon-with-a-cigar and Featured by !alchemism )

Well I'm glad to have inspired you. I was looking at your gallery and though you have done very little you seem to have an eye for it. I also teach make up effects/sculpting and one of the things I always tell my students who are novice sculptors is to never make it up....always use reference...and then just have fun! If you are not enjoying it you wont get good at it!

I appreciate the input. I've only been doing it since October of 2012. Everything I've done thus far has been through the minds eye so to speak.I enjoy it tremendously as it takes me away from the trials of the day. The only problem I have is the limited amount of time I have since I work very long hours. Everything I know about the art itself is what I gather through the internet via articles or video. You do spectacular work. I'm trying to build a reference gallery of images and things I would like to try.

I hear you when you say it's hard to find the time...I face the same problems and know how frustrating it can be. But it IS an enjoyable way to escape reality so have fun when you can...and if you need any advice please feel free to drop me a mail and I'll always do my best to help.
